The CAN-8124 / CAN-8224 main unit has a modular design which offers many good features for users and provides greater flexibility in data acquisition and control. CAN-8124 and CAN-8224-are DeviceNet devices. They are applied as slaves in the DeviceNet network. In addition, they also represent utility tools to allow users to configure and create the EDS files for the specific I / O modules connected.

The CAN-8224 control unit is specially designed for the slave device of the DeviceNet protocol. Follow the DeviceNet specification, in order to expand one more I / O channel, one CAN-8224 supports 2 I / O expansion slots.
